Retired Public Employees Association Chapter 25 General
Meeting–Oct 21, 2008.
The meeting was called to order at 10:30 A. M. by President
James Spaulding at the El Dorado Park Senior Citizens
Center 2800 Studebaker Rd. Long Beach, California. The
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by the President.
The minutes of the July 15, 2008 meeting were approved as
printed in the newsletter.
Gene Williams speaker for the National Committee for the
Preservation of Social Security & Medi-Care gave a brief
presentation.
Doctor Luxford with the E P I C Hearing Health Care gave
complete and excellent explanations about surrounding
sounds that have nothing to do with hearing problems.
Chapter 25 has its own website! The web site will consist
of chapter information only i. e. bylaws, minutes, etc. go to
www.rpea025.com
The 50/50 and $2.00 bill raffles were held, Gil Morrissey
won the 50/50 and donated his winnings back to the
chapter (thanks Gil).
Meeting was adjourned.

Thank you for working with me with the food preparation
As you know, a hot lunch is provided at the conclusion of
our meetings. Food is prepared for us, based on the
number of ADVANCE RESERVATIONS we have received.
We must know ahead of time if you will be staying for lunch.
