Flag was led by the President.
The minutes of the July 31, 2007 were approved as printed in the
newsletter.
The Treasurer’s report was tabled until the next general meeting.
The chapter has for the first time a $1,500.00 CD.
bring in one new member. Fifty members have been lost due to
Nomination of officers: We will have same officers unless someone
volunteers for a vacancy. Membership chairperson needed. Officers
will be sworn in January ’08.
CALPERS is 100% funded!
Richman’s initiative would severely damage CALPERS. However, at
this time, it is not doing well.
Seiichi Tsurumi of Sound Energy Solutions (SES) presented “What
you should know about Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and why it
makes sense for Long Beach.” Q& A followed.
The president welcomed the visiting Chapter 19 members.
The website will consist of chapter information only i.e. bylaws,
minutes, etc. More information forthcoming.
ATTENTION! ATTENTION! The meeting location has changed! The
next General Meeting will be Tuesday, January 22, 2008, 10:30am at
the El Dorado Park Senior Center located at 2800 Studebaker Road,
Long Beach, California.
The 50/50 and $2.00 bill raffles.
